Nah, new update.. (to my wife)

2 months without updating this blog liao. Haha. Kena complain from my wife so here is a new post together with some updates! :)

I took JLPT2 (Japanese language proficiency test) on 7th Dec after about 2.5 years of studying the language at Hougang Japanese School. Although me and my wife took 1 whole week of leave to prepare, revise and bite into those books, I still found the test totally difficult! The listening was terrible, almost native speaking speed I guess. In the end, it was more or less a game of Tikam for me as the test is entirely MCQ. Haha. Don't expect myself to pass when the results are released in end Feb 09. Next year work harder. The weird thing is that I have another friend who said the test is actually easier than past years! Jialat, next year one I hope can be easier a bit. *pray*

My Japanese language sensei is back to Japan for good this month. *weep* She has taught me and my wife from elementary to advanced, a good 2.5 years lor. Really she bu de that she has to return back to her country. But I guess it's bo bian, she IS native Japanese afterall. Sooner or later sure must go back one. So before she went back, we got a small thank-you card for her. Hopefully she'll remember the 2 of us. :) That sort of ended our studies at Hougang Japanese School liao. Following that, we enrolled for Japanese classes in Ikoma Language School (in Shaw House). We were told that there will be a placement test before we are allowed to join their Advanced course. Initially we were quite worried what sort of test will that be but end up, it's more of a briefing session ba. Haha. The sensei was just briefing us (in Japanese of course) on what the lessons usually consists of, what do they usually do etc. Quite a nice lady. Coincidentally, the class we signed up for happens to be her class too! Haha. The atmosphere at Ikoma School is very nice and the place looks professional. Studying there must be very beneficial to us, I hope. We will be starting lessons there in January. Looking forward to that!
